GasX

Dual function:

For both regular oxygenation & emergency

High quality diffusers for land-based tanks

  • High efficiency-small bubbles
  • High capacity
  • Low opening pressure 0,5 bar
  • Long lifetime
  • Hydrodynamic form
  • Four sizes

GasX is used in:

  • Land-based tanks
  • Wellboats
  • Industry applications

GasX makes the smallest bubbles

The time factor is crucial when adding gases to water with diffuser elements, like GasX. Non-dissolved oxygen that is not while the bubbles pass through the water column will be lost forever. GasX is made from a totally new material, where the bubble size and uniformity is the main objective, producing a bubble pattern for optimum gas transfer. For maximum efficiency the right choice is the GasX-saving diffuser.

GasX works better at lower pressure

GasX differs from other diffusers in that it flows oxygen at pressures down to 1.2 bar ensuring a controlled, gentle process. This helps to avoid production of over-sized bubbles, which tend to coalesce into even-larger bubbles on the way to the surface. With GasX there is excellent gas exchange throughout the whole water column.

GasX suits all systems

The capacity of a large GasX is 20 litres/min oxygen at a working pressure as low as 2.5 bar. This low pressure requirement enables them to be used with site-generated oxygen.

Lets the bubbles go easier

The hydrodynamic profile of the diffuser ensures that the bubbles are readily swept off the surface, minimising coalescing, increasing efficiency.

Stays down - stays clean

gasx-form-en.png

GasX is heavier and more hydrodynamic than other diffusers. It is not easily moved by water currents and will not trap waste products on the tank floor.

GasX - based on years of fishfarming experience

GasX dissolves oxygen in water quickly and effectively making it the most cost effective diffuser on the market. By finding the best position for the diffuser relative to the inlet and outlet of the tank, efficiency can be maximised. As the bubbles rise through the water column oxygen is dissolved and other gases (CO2 and N2) will be stripped off - improving water quality and creating a better environment for fish growth.
The diffusing elements are made of specially-designed ceramic bars with very fine pores. These bars are built into a robust aluminium profile with an anodised finish to resist corrosion. Countersunk mounting holes are provided to secure the diffuser in position if required.
